These Terms of Service ("terms") govern your use of the FreshRadar WordPress plugin and the hosted scoring service operated by Fresh Plugins ("we", "us", "our"), an Australian business. By installing, activating, or using FreshRadar, or by using the scoring service it connects to, you agree to these terms.
By downloading, installing, activating or using the FreshRadar plugin, or by sending content to the scoring service it connects to, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the plugin or the scoring service.
FreshRadar is a WordPress plugin that scores your published content for freshness. Scoring is performed by a hosted service we operate, which forwards post content to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the assessment. Scoring requires an outbound internet connection and is not available offline — if your site cannot reach our service, scoring will fail.
The free tier scores up to 25 posts per month per site. The Pro tier removes that cap and adds weekly automatic rescoring of enrolled posts. These limits are enforced by the scoring service, not by the plugin itself, and may be adjusted from time to time.
Pro licences are sold and billed through Freemius, our payments and licensing provider, who acts as merchant of record for these transactions. Pro licences are an annual subscription. Renewal, refunds and cancellation are handled by Freemius and are subject to Freemius's terms: https://freemius.com/terms/. Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout, and any applicable GST or other sales tax is calculated and collected by Freemius as part of that transaction.
You must not attempt to bypass usage limits or entitlement checks, use automated or scripted means to abuse the scoring endpoint, or submit content you do not have the right to submit. We may suspend access to the scoring service for accounts that do any of these things.
Freshness scores are AI-generated estimates. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and must not be relied on as the sole basis for editorial or business decisions. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content decisions you make using FreshRadar.
The scoring service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, with no guaranteed uptime. We may change, suspend or discontinue the scoring service, in whole or in part, and will make reasonable efforts to give notice of any change that materially affects existing users.
The FreshRadar plugin's source code is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPLv2-or-later). These terms govern your use of the hosted scoring service described above; they do not restrict, and nothing in them should be read as restricting, the rights granted to you under the GPL in the plugin code itself.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law, that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to those non-excludable rights, and to the extent permitted by law, our liability to you in connection with the plugin or the scoring service is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales in relation to any dispute arising from these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the plugin or the scoring service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
